Welcome to Scott Piano Lessons!

Considering piano lessons? You've come to the right place!

Adrienne Scott teaches piano lessons out of her home in Brentwood, Tennessee. If you would like information about her traveling to your home, please send a message from the Contact page.

Adrienne specializes in teaching piano to beginning and intermediate students. Students must be kindergarten age or older. Adrienne earned her Bachelor of Music in Music Education from James Madison University in Virginia. She is certified to teach instrumental music, K-12, and taught elementary music in Wilson County. She is a member of Tennessee Music Educators Association, Middle Tennessee Elementary Music Educators Association, and The National Association of Music Education (MENC).

Before starting piano lessons, you will sit down with Adrienne to discuss her teaching style, what method books she uses, the whole year big picture, how a lesson runs, and she will answer any and all questions you might have.

What is the big picture? Your child should enjoy coming to piano lessons every week. Learning an instrument should be fun, rewarding, as well as challenging. Lessons usually begin a couple weeks after the school year starts (mid-August) but new students can join any time during the year provided there is an open slot. All students come together for a student recital around the beginning of December, and the full recital is around the end of May, and it is open to moms, dads, grandparents, your second cousin twice removed, and anybody else you want to bring along.

If you are interested in lessons for the 2010-2011 year (lessons begin August 2010), please contact us through the contact page.
